Historic Northampton dance academy comes to Kingsley

Children aged 3-5 in Kingsley have a new opportunity to take to the dance floor as Pitt-Draffen Academy of Dance comes to the nearby Park Avenue methodists church.

The dance classes are held at the nearby Park Avenue Methodists church

Pitt-Draffen academy, established in 1947, has offered traditional dance teaching to generations across Northampton, specialising in ballet, modern and tap dancing.

Dancers have the opportunity to progress through the academy from as young as three years up until adulthood working on advanced grades.

All pupils involved in the academy also get the chance to take part in performing at the Cripps Theatre in Northampton, allowing the students to build the foundations of potential careers on stage.

The dance classes in Kingsley will be held every Tuesday from 4:15pm.
